This excerpt is from a video satire of a cooking show inspired by Michael Pollan’s book The Omnivore’s Dilemma which examines the ethical, chemical, political and ecological factors of our food production and food choices. The highly stylized and sexualized presentation of food in this commercial paradigm is used to contrast the harmful, wasteful, dangerous and repercussive practices of food cultivation and production.
